Egg Mask

Hello All,

Yes I have yet again discovered something fascinating enough for me to update my blog!
It all started with me complaining to my co worker how my skin is so sensitive and irritated lately. It's all blotchy from the winter weather, and my continuous battles with eczema.  Anyways, she suggested me to try an egg mask, which is suppose to be good for sensitive skin. So I tired it tonight. The directions are very simple. Take an egg, crack it, separate the egg yoke from the white in two bowls. Beat them both until they bubble. Take your fingers or a brush and apple the eye white onto your face for 15-30 min. It will quickly dry up and tighten around your face. After 15-30 min wash it off with warm water and pat your face dry. Step two is to take the yoke and follow the same process.
The drying of the egg process really firms and tightens the skin, but you can wash it off quickly with water and your face feels pretty nice and soft after. It kind of glows. I do believe it's stopped most of the irritation I was facing this morning on my face. So please do give it a try!
It's a pretty inexpensive mask that you probably already have sitting in your fridge ;)

NEON LIGHTS

I know I haven't updated in forever, but had to this week... why? Because I have found something wonderful that I'm fascinated and obsessed with at the moment. It all started when I caught my co worker donning Neon Pink toes. Every time I stared at them I thoughtthey were just so bright and beautiful. She told me that they were by the brand Essie, so I thought okay I'll pick up when I have the time. That was probably a month or so ago, and every time I walked past a hair salon or a drug store I would look for the neon Essie nail polish; I would never come across it. I even detoured out of my way to stop by a London Drugs, because my co worker told me Loreal carried a neon colour just like it. But when we went to London Drugs it was not there =(
So last week I was walking down town with my friend and I passed by Sheffion and there it was: freaking bright neon pink Essie nail polish. However I was with my friend who is a boy and kno
ws nothing about girl-obsessions, so I decided not to scare him. Since I knew Sheffion carried this neon pink I would go pick it up at the Oakridge location... so on Sunday I went to Oak
ridge, and they only carried OPI! NO NEON PINK ESSIE! ... so even more determined now I went to Richmond Centre, and to make a long story short I never found my Neon Essie nail polish, BUT I did find a cheaper version at the Face Shop. I picked up a neon pink and Coral/Orange. I am now donning the brightest nails in town hahahha. I LOVE IT!
... i'm not sure why, but when I uploaded these photos they lost the neon shade... don't worry though, come visit me in life and you'll see the fabulous neon ;)

Thus the moral of this story is... if you try hard enough even if you don't find it you will find something BETTER! In my case it was better because I got two NEON nail polishes for the price of one Essie nail polish! Faboosh!

and for your viewing pleasure extra photos of my two best nail friends casually mingling with my jewellery and hanging out on my laptop with their more expensive essie friends ;P
